studioblue Architecture was established in 2008 in Burlington, VT by Donna Church, AIA. This woman-owned business focuses on designing residential and small scale commercial projects. With projects of all sizes, located across the country, she has developed the skills of listening to her clients, developing appropriate designs and working with contractors to make projects happen. Her creative talents are continuously explored through the mediums of Art & Architecture.
Our goal at studioblue Architecture is to educate our clients about their options in order to help minimize the impacts of construction on the environment. This begins in the design process by carefully choosing where the building is placed in the landscape and from there the design evolves based on solar orientation and our clients program. Many environmentally sustainable decisions are integrated into the selection of the structural, mechanical and electrical systems. We also educate our clients about the use of renewable resources and sustainable materials when choosing the finishes for their projects.
